Mise En Scene
Location
The Location for the shot would inside a Design Technology classroom in The Oldershaw Academy. I picked this image because it creates a hard-working visualisation for the school; this being due to the fact that the actor in the image is working hard sanding a piece of acrylic. The image suits the use also becuase it is relative in terms of its use of the rule of 3.
Actors
The Actor for this shot is myself, Bradley Barker. I have used myself as the actor simply because it is easier to direct myself in the picture and tell somebody else how I want the image taking; than vice versa.
Camera Shot
The shot is taken from the left-hand-side of the actor and is taken using a tilt-shot from a slight above angle. The image suits also, because it is relative in terms of its use of the rule of 3. The actor is slightly over to the right-hand-side of the image thus allowing to have text on the left hand-side of the image.
Costumes
The costume that was used was a lab coat from Design Technology, this allowed the image to evoke the sophistication of the school.
Props
In this image, I used a prop of a piece of acrylic plastic in order to look like i was using the machinery.
Narrative
This image will have a narrative that suggests that the school has a very highly qualified Design Technology department. It also suggests that the students are very happy because the actor is smiling.

School Magazine Images
These are some examples of school magazine images. The above banner is from The Oldershaw Academy Magazine and the other image is a front cover from somebody's preliminary task in AS Media Studies.
